The tour starts with Vitosha mountain- Kopitoto panorama view and beautiful Golden bridges area. Next are 3 dams- Pancharevo, Pasarel and Iskar which is the biggest dam in Bulgaria built to supply Sofia with drinkable water. It takes another 30 minutes to reach Borovets which is a mountain resort located on the northern slopes of Rila mountains. Horse riding or ATV possible. Borovets is the gateway to numerous ski and snowboard runs. Before becoming the oldest ski resort in Bulgaria, at the end of 19th century, Borovets was established as a hunting area for the Bulgarian kings. Next is hot mineral water swimming pools in Sapareva Banya. After another 1 hour and 30 minutes you will be back in Sofia.
