Departure after breakfast when you wish from your hotel or apartment in Sofia. Our driver will meet you at the reception in the hotel or at your apartment. It takes about 2 hours one way to get to Koprivshtica. You have about 2 hours time to see the beautiful architecture and nature of historical town of Koprivshtica from where started the biggest organized fight for Bulgarian liberation from the Ottoman Empire. In Koprivshtica you will have the chance to visit: the Memorial monument of April 20th keeping the bones of the rebels who died in the April Uprising; Dimcho Debelianov house museum (1830); Todor Kableshkov house museum (1845); Church of St. Nicholas (1839); the bridge where the first shot of the uprising was fired in 1876; Lyutov house museum (1854); Georgi Benkovski house museum (1831); Lyuben Karavelov house museum (1810). It takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to get form Koprivshtitsa to Plovdiv. You can have lunch (1 hour) either in Koprivshtitsa or in Plovdiv. Free time in Plovdiv: 3-4 hours. Plovdiv is one of the oldest European cities, life never stopped here for 6000 years. Witness the Thracian, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Bulgarian traces and architecture. In Plovdiv you will have the chance to visit: the old town, Roman theatre, Constantine and Elena church, Historical museum, Ethnographic museum, new town with its main pedestrianized and shopping street, ancient Roman Stadium, Roman forum, Roman Odeon, Djumaya mosque, old clock tower, Garden of Tsar Simeon with its Singing fountains, Plovdiv hills, known as "Tepeta". You have 1-3 hours for sightseeing. Between 17:00 and 19:00 you will back in Sofia.
