Departure after breakfast when you wish from your hotel or apartment in Sofia. Our driver will meet you at the reception in the hotel or at your apartment. It takes about 2 hours one way to get to Koprivshtica. Then you have 1-4 hours to see the beautiful architecture and nature of historical town of Koprivshtica from where started the biggest organized fight for Bulgarian liberation from the Ottoman Empire. In Koprivshtica you will have the chance to visit: the Memorial monument of April 20th keeping the bones of the rebels who died in the April Uprising; Dimcho Debelianov house museum (1830); Todor Kableshkov house museum (1845); Church of St. Nicholas (1839); the bridge where the first shot of the uprising was fired in 1876; Lyutov house museum (1854); Georgi Benkovski house museum (1831); Lyuben Karavelov house museum (1810). After that you can have lunch. Between 16:00 and 18:00 you are back in Sofia.
