Departure after breakfast when you wish from your hotel or apartment in Sofia. Our driver will meet you at the reception in the hotel or at your apartment. It takes about 3 hours one way to get to Belogradchik. The first fortress was built during the Roman Empire, after that it was expanded by the Bulgarians and then by the Ottomans.  The fortress was last used for military purpose during the Serbian-Bulgarian war in 1885.  Most of the tourists visit this place because of the stunning panorama views and the interesting rock formations resembling mythical creatures, human and animal shapes. The rock formations were formed for 200 million years by rain and wind. You have 1-4 hours for sightseeing and lunch. After another 3 hours you are back in Sofia at about 18:00.
